Sale highlights

This was a working farmhouse outside McMinnville. The family had been on this property since the 1970s, growing hazelnuts and raising animals. The kitchen was built for feeding a crew and the barn was full of things we didn't even know how to price at first.

What was available

The kitchen had Lodge cast iron in every size, a full set of vintage Pyrex mixing bowls (the ones everyone wants), pressure canners, and Ball jars by the flat. The pantry had a wooden drying rack and a hand-crank apple peeler clamped to the counter.

The barn had hay hooks, horse tack, hand saws, a forge anvil, and wooden crates stamped with local orchard names. We found a cream separator and a manual seed broadcaster buried under tarps. The mudroom had Pendleton blankets, rubber boots in four sizes, and a hat rack with maybe fifteen ball caps from feed stores around the valley.
